It was Halloween night, and I was on my way to meet my friends at the old haunted house on the hill. I was late. As I neared the house, I could see my friends standing on the porch. I called to them, but suddenly they disappeared.

I closed my eyes tight, then opened them to see if I was dreaming. I wasn't dreaming. I went up to the porch where they were standing. Then I called them again. They appeared right in front of me.

I asked them "Where did you disappear too?" "We don't know." said Cassie, "We were about to wave to you, and suddenly we were in a dark, creepy room. We huddled close together, then you called us, and now we're here."

I was trembling as we walked inside. Allison said "I think what is making us disappear and reappear is when someone calls us we disappear, and when they call us again, we reappear."

"But Jennifer was the only one who called us" Megan stated, "so we might not be called again. But if someone does call us, they might not call us again, and we'll be trapped in the creepy room." 

Suddenly, we heard our names. One by one we ended up in the creepy room. Jessa said "You were right, Allison, someone called our names, and we're here again. Now all we need to know is how we are going to get someone to call us again, and I don't know the answer to that."

"All I know is that as soon as we get out of here, we're leaving." I said.

"That's for sure" said Jessa.

We looked around for doors or windows, but there was no sign of either.

So we all laid down and went to sleep. When we woke up, we were in another room...Creepy room #2. This room wasn't dark, it was very light. We were about to go back to sleep, but we thought we might be moved again, so we looked around for clues or an opening. "I found it!" I shouted "An opening?" asked Allison.

"No, but a clue to one" I said Everyone crowded around me. "Leaves! Follow the leaves to the opening, it leads outside."

We followed the trail of leaves and rushed out the door. We started running to the car, but a man blocked us. He had a wand. "Did I frighten you?" he asked, "What?" we said. "I'm the one that sent you to those rooms. Did I frighten you?" he repeated. "Yes" said Allison. "I'm so sorry" he said.

"How did you do it?" asked Megan.

"A magician never reveals his secrets." the man said. Then he disappeared!!!!!!!!
