We aren't really going to discuss the movie here, except to say that we saw it when it was at the theater and we liked it.  Best scene:  The chess match.  Alex just wants to add that: "I liked the Harry Potter movie."

What we really want to talk about is the second disk in the DVD special wide screen addition.  This disk contains a trip to Diagon Alley, a tour of Hogwarts, and a visit to the library.    You can also attend classes and play a game that let's you view seven scenes that were taken out of the theater movie. 

The second disk is generally good, but a few of the features are a little boring.  Most boring:  the tour of Hogwarts and the sorting hat.  We believe there is more to do with the sorting hat on the DVD ROM, but we aren't capable of using this feature at this time, so we can only say the sorting hat on the DVD was boring.

Best Feature:  Attending class and earning the right to view the seven previously unseen scenes.  This was actually pretty neat.  You had to remember things from the book to get some of the answers.  The tour of the library was good too.

Overall, it's worth taking a look, but not spending too much time.
