Earl wins $100,000 in the lottery, gets hit by a car, and realizes that he has bad karma. He makes a list and sets out to right all his wrongs, which are many and really, truly wrong. Earl did many very bad things.

My Name is Earl is part of the backlash that had to come against political correctness. The show builds on stereo types to create its plot lines. For example, Earl has help from his brother, Randy, who is slightly slow, and the illegal Mexican maid from the motel where they live. I find I can't even explain the character types because of the idea that I might offend someone, so I'll just say watch the show. Let them do the offending and you can realize how dumb we can all be.
