Do you love a mystery? Have you always wanted to be Nancy Drew? Well, this is the game for you! We played the CD-ROM game called Nancy Drew and the Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, and it was "the best game ever" (Jennifer). The game starts out where Nancy (you) takes a trip to visit her friend who just bought a house on Moon Lake. It turns out that her friend was afraid of "Ghost Dogs" that were attacking the house at night, and she leaves Nancy (you) alone at the house. Your job is to find out who is controlling these "ghost dogs" and why. This involves completing tasks for the cast of characters that reside at the lake. Call your friends Bess & George, The Hardy Boys, and Sally (who owns the house) for clues. 

    It is a 3-d game, but you don't have to wear glasses, although that really puts you in the action. You visit many places including hiking in the woods, visiting a camp store, the ranger station, and even a cemetery! There are a couple of dangers that you will come across along the way, but it's fun and exciting getting out of them. You can even go to a website for extra clues and hints to complete difficult tasks. There are over 20 hours of play, and it took us about 3 weeks to finish the game. We borrowed the game from the library, but I think you can buy it for under $20.00. There are 6 other titles in this series, and one is coming out this summer.
