The book club had the following comments about this book:

Coleen and Niki liked it. They thought is was funny in the beginning but sad at the end. Hope, Sawn and Vicky did not like the book and could not relate to the main character at all.

General comments:

In some ways the reader could relate to the main character but felt both sorry and mad at her. She was always on the defense. She was also snobish towards others. Sometimes she was just plain stupid.

The book was very well written. The vocabulary chosen fit the book, although the book was at times a tedious read. The sentence structure was difficult.

A few said they would read another book by this author though.
