The Coolest Movie Ever!!!  

Alex, Mason and I just saw Spider-Man and we’ve decided it is the coolest movie ever made.  Cooler even than Spy Kids.  Ok.  Alex doesn't think it's the coolest movie ever, but she agrees it's cool.

The basic premise is this:  Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) gets bit by a radio active / genetically enhanced spider, giving him all the strengths of a spider.  For instance, he can climb vertical structures, he’s amazingly agile, and he has webs that shoot out of his palms.

The story was nicely crafted, smart and funny; the characters well developed, and the special effects cool, although we could tell when the green screen was used. 

My favorite part was when Peter discovers his spider skills and learns to shoot his webs.  Alex liked when M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) tells Peter she loves him.  There’s even a scene when Spider-Man is hanging upside down and M.J. kisses him.  We wonder if that was hard to do.   

So we advise everyone to see this movie and have a great time.  Alex is already writing the sequel.  I bet she’s right about all her predictions too.  But I won’t worry about that.  This movie was too much fun!
