Mason says "I liked everything about this movie, except the surgery scene."

We said Spider-Man was the coolest movie ever, but Spider-Man 2 just took that title.
In Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker cannot reconcile his double existence. Spider-Man's life is causing Peter Parker's life to fall apart. Peter solves this problem by quitting his Spider-Man duties. He tosses his suit in the garbage and tries to lead a regular life.
However, Peter realizes this is impossible when his hero Dr. Otto Octavius, deformed in an accident and transformed into Doc Oc, begins an experiment that is sure to destroy half the city.
This movie has very few unnecessary scenes. One of these scenes is not very good and should not be part of the movie. But as for the rest of the movie, it flowed along very well. I actually like this movie better than the first because the "bad guy" Doc. Oc is not truly bad and his arms are funny at times.
If you were a fan of the first movie, then it would be a safe bet to say that you would like this movie. It's not quite as humorous as the first but it still has some laughable scenes. I'd give this movie a definite Silver Bug. Just be careful of the scene after Doc. Oc is created.
